So as you may or may not know, I’m more or less bed ridden with a dislocated foot that is pending surgery. I haven’t bathed since before the incident (it’s been a while don’t ask) and I’ve been making myself vulnerable to negative thoughts and feelings.
Amazingly, after posting a status message on my Facebook profile (Christien needs some friendly inspiration) I got a few gifts of wisdom from old friends who felt compelled to answer my call. One of which I haven’t spoken to in years but reminded me that inspiration truly comes from within. That anything external which may seem to have inspired me, has really only released a prescence within me.
Second to that, I got a book sent by mail called “Courage Every Day” which is a book of empty pages with footnotes (inspirational quotes) to guide me along my way to “authoring” my life. The cover of this book has a paramount message I feel I’ve had to share with countless people again and again… it’s funny, cause people say I have great insights but I fail to apply them to myself.
